Highest Yield Resources
- Can You Reverse Type 2 Diabetes? | Roy Taylor | The Proof Podcast EP #287 - This podcast is moderately accessible for the lay person
- 337- Insulin resistance masterclass: The full body impact of metabolic dysfunction, treatment & more - This truly is a masterclass in insulin resistance. I would love to force every physician, dietician, and healthcare worker managing diabetes to watch this. This podcast is meant for people who have taken a physiology and probably pharmacology, and difficult to follow along with otherwise. So I wouldn’t necessarily recommend casually.
- Peter Attia: #271 – AMA #51: Understanding and improving your metabolic health
- This page has about 85% of what I think is important to know, but is behind a paywall unfortunately. It really is a one-stop-shop for the topic, so if you want to save time (or a nerd like me) it is worth checking out.
- Outlive: The Science and Art of Longevity by Peter Attia
- There is a chapter in this book that has about 90% of my thoughts. If you were to buy the book and could follow through with the recommendations on reducing visceral fat, increasing muscle mass, and training cardio, your metabolic health can be vastly improved.
